In honor of 30 years at Piero’s Italian Cuisine, we want to introduce you to a few of the amazing Piero’s team members who work so hard behind the scenes:
Angela “Angie” Despain – 5 ½ years at Piero’s
- Title: Administrative Assistant
- Favorite thing about working at Piero’s: All of the girls in the office…it’s my extended family.
- On Piero’s at 30: Being part of a family-owned company that has been around for 30 years is a blessing. It’s nice to know that even the smaller companies can survive through thick and thin. Here’s to 30 more years!
- Favorite dish at Piero’s: Agnolotti
- A Fact: I was born and raised in the Las Vegas Valley. Not many people know, but I have a 1972 Chevrolet Nova that I’ve had since 2000. It’s being restored very slowly, but I do skirt around town in it a few times a year!
Antonio Martinez – 20 years at Piero’s
- Title: Head Pastry Chef
- Favorite thing about working at Piero’s: I like everything.
- On Piero’s at 30: I’ve been working at Piero’s since I was 20 years old. That’s half of my life. It’s like a family here.
- Favorite dish at Piero’s: Chicken Parmigiana
- A fact: My favorite sport is soccer. When the weather is nice out, I like to take my family out to play a game or two.
Brandon Lizama – 8 years at Piero’s
- Title: Host/Busboy
- Favorite thing about working at Piero’s: The people – Customers and co-workers
- On Piero’s at 30: “Cheers!”
- Favorite dish at Piero’s: Osso Buco
- A Fact: After the end of a fairly busy night, some of the employees and I like to go out for a midnight snack.
Meet Lucy Yrizarris – 11 years at Piero’s
- Title: Waiter
- Favorite thing about working at Piero’s: My friends here – they are like family. It’s fun to meet new people.
- On Piero’s at 30: May Piero’s have 30 more years… Love this place!
- Favorite dish at Piero’s: Bone In Prime Rib…so good!
- A fact: Martini! Yeah! Goose up, little dirty, one olive – Please!
