Evan’s traditions on Father’s Day!

Father’s Day is fast approaching once again. First of all, I’d like to say that being a father and watching my children grow up is a tremendous blessing. I learn something new with them every day and for that I am always grateful!

Here’s what we like to do on Father’s Day…

We order steak and chops from Piero’s and barbecue with the family while hanging out by the pool all day. Also, my children love the Linguine alla Vongole, a thin pasta with fresh clams! For dessert they LOVE our homemade carrot cake and Profitto rolls!

My favorite memory as a child with dad? It is definitely fishing for clams. My dad would have the clams shucked in the back so I did not have to mess with the shells. I would take a huge spoon and “fish for clams!”

My message to all dads: We are typically in a rush and stressed out with work and other responsibilities. When it comes to family, slow down and cherish EVERY MOMENT with them. We should always be thankful for what we have!

Happy Father’s Day!
