In honor of Mother’s Day, I would like to reflect on two of the most important women in my life: My mother, Jeanne, and my wife, Alida.
My favorite memory with my mother?
At Piero’s she made the floral arrangements for every votive on the tables and designed the large arrangements at the front door as well. As a child I would sit there and dine on profiteroles or watch basketball games IMPATIENTLY. She always had such passion for designing those arrangements and making the restaurant look as beautiful as possible. She took such pride in her work and still does to this day!
How do I celebrate Mother’s Day with Alida?
My special messages to my mother and wife:
Mom: You’ve taught me so much and you are such an amazing person. Your strength and your unconditional love have been so important in helping me become the man I am today.
Alida: You have given me so much and I love you with all my heart. I married the most beautiful, caring and compassionate woman I could ever imagine. I greatly admire your ability to stay calm in almost any situation! You are a wonderful, loving wife and mother!
Happy Mother’s day to all… We wouldn’t be who we are today without our mothers to guide us through life!
